The Dream Spirit is a didgeridoo inspired by the original Spirit, my personal didgeridoo that I use both for my meditation practices and “Difficult but Possible“. Such is its versatility when it comes to playing. It is an ultra-responsive high backpressured didgeridoo that doesn’t suffer from the common “flatness”problem that many high backpressued didges do suffer from. On the contrary, it’s drone is really full- bodied and in another dimension when it comes to dynamics. The range of lowest volume, a barely hearble smooth drone to the thundering pondering when you push it, is out of this world.

A bit bigger than it’s predecessor, both in length and in bell, it is well tuned to Eb, whereas my didge is  more like Eb+20%.  Wood is Bloodwood Eucalytpus, which has been drying in our wood stock for more than 10 years. The bell and the mouthpiece are made of rare and very hard wood from Australia, called beefwood, which is very very difficult to work with. The wood has a beautiful chatoyance, radial lines, complex and deep colour. Both bell and mouthpiece are attached with a slot, so not just direct gluing onto a flat surface. The inlaying is done mostly with brass and some accents with fuchsite. You can expect the didge to darken over time. It is polished to mirror polish and is absolutely smooth to touch.

To describe Dream Spirit if you have never tried it is nearly impossible. If you have never tried Spirit or some of its “children” then you have not tried any didge like it. Inside this didge you will find such power, such precision, so many so easy trumpet tones, so much richness…. that even I didn’t think it was possible, until it was made. It is a didgeridoo that invites you to be played all the time.
