This is the shortest didgeridoo we have, but with one of the most stunning appearances. It is a nice little didgeridoo, playing moderately loud and fairly easy, and one of the rare Duende examples that surpass their sound by their looks.
This little stick has drier sound, in a good way. It is not so short, and bell is not so small in common sense, but when compared to other instruments in this place, it is. And consequently we could describe the sound as less full and less loud. We could also say it is a lively little stick with no big disadvantages, and in combination with the price it is wonderful! Toots are bright and with nice sustain – referring to the little echo that remains in silence after a toot is played.
In terms of playability this didgeridoo is a true friend. It does not let you down in any way. It has a strong backpressure and is easy to control. Reads small tongue and cheeks sounds well for it is not big in volume and therefore is easy to move. Toots are easy, but not very high ones. It starts to demand skills quite rapidly after third/fourth one.
In appearance, it is an amazing combination of colours and shapes. It is a one piece kind of thing. Firstly, it was drilled, so it has never been more than one piece. Second, it has unique „resin scar“ on the bell. Third it has an enchanting red knot filled with Sodalite and Fuchsite which is reminiscent of a little mountain lake. And as fourth it has astonishing natural colours ranging from gray/brown to dark red/violet. Shaped proportionally from bottom to top.
Buy didgeridoo “Little Lake” to get a really nice little stick with Duende playing qualities for an exceptional price.
