This is a 180cm long one piece didgeridoo made from  old Bluegum Eucalyptus from Australia that plays in E. It is a blend of contemporary tongue articulation practice and traditional textures. A bit like having privilege of being possessed by Aboriginal elder one night and making an instrument while keeping your fast beating heart that resonates with modern day music. The nature of this beast is that it likes to be pushed and then it will truly shine. This instrument is very very very loud so it is good for busking but it since it is very sensitive to pressure it can teach you a lot about precision. For the reason of precision it can work in studio environment equally well as in the streets.. It has amazingly high overtones and I see it could do equally good played solo because its full spectrum and in a band for it can cut through mix very well… It would probably take the role of rhythm guitar not of bass guitar.

If you are a total beginner, you will be able to play this didgeridoo as the backpressure is high and it is very easy to get a basic drone. But! Make no mistake, also I have  still a lot to do on instrument like this. Still many things to learn. It offers a great blend of precision and richness, especially in fast and dense playing so one needs to find a sweetspot on how much to push it and how much to let it growl.

The wood reflects many colours in sunlight, from golden orange to bordeaux. 3D textures give it contrast and the top brass inserts remind a lot of the eyes that keep looking at you as you play. Price is 1850e and you can know that you will have difficulty finding didgeridoo like this for any price.  Have a look at the video for more info!
